BlueTEC catalytic converter technology uses the reactant AdBlue® to purify exhaust gases. This makes it possible to reduce nitrogen oxides by up to 80%. This exceptionally clean diesel technology is applied in the R 350 BlueTEC 4MATIC. It already complies with the future EU6 exhaust emissions standard.
The latest-generation CDI diesel engines combine irresistible performance characteristics with low consumption. Injection pressure has been increased, smoothness of operation enhanced and noise levels optimised – while reduced compression makes for lower emission levels.
