Balkan Star Automotive is a company of the Willi Betz Group. It is established in 1992 as a general distributor for Mercedes-Benz in Bulgaria. Balkan Star is now offering vehicles of different brands and has a product range valued from 5.000 to 500.000 EUR.
Balkan Star is operating in the sales of new and used vehicles, both passenger cars and commercial vehicles and spare parts and service for the product range of Maybach, Mercedes-Benz, Setra, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Mitsubishi, Renault, Dacia and Mitsubishi Fuso. The company is also offering different financial facilities and trade-in.
In the year of 2007 the activity of the company splits up in two separate levels of distribution - wholesale and retail, the following new organizations are established Balkan Star Automotive Ltd., Balkan Star Motors Ltd. and Balkan Star Remarketing Ltd. In the same year Rolf Hendrik Epple overtakes the management.
As a general distributor Balkan Star operates as a wholesaler for Bulgaria. On the retail level the company disposes of three own centres located in Sofia, Plovdiv and Varna.
In the year of 2007 Balkan Star Automotive celebrates its 15th anniversary. Through the years the number of employees in the company is constantly growing and nowadays amounts more than 600 people.
